This was perfect for our family of 4, space-wise. That being said, I meal prepped and made freezer meals so we didn’t use this kitchen much. If I had to cook in the kitchen space, it would’ve been tight. We have stayed in Fort Morgan the last 7 summers, in a different house each time and there are pros and cons to each one. For me, cleanliness, AC, and distance to the beach are top priorities and all were excellent here. As stated above, the kitchen is tight, but it works when you’re spending 90% of your time on the beautiful beach. The refrigerator has a magnet stating it can take up to 24 hours to cool everything—never did. We ended up just putting everything back in our coolers and using the mini fridge upstairs (which was a nice touch). The freezer worked fine though. I’ll admit, I didn’t contact anyone about fixing it because we made it work and I didn’t want to spend time dealing with that or feeling like one of us needed to be in the house while a repairman came or they replaced it. I received a text with a link asking if they were exceeding our expectations, the options were thumbs up or thumbs down, I gave them a thumbs down (for the fridge) and I got a message saying they would be reaching out to me soon—also never did. The outdoor shower area was also a low point in comparison to every other house we’ve stayed it, but it is functional. My husband likes to hose our beach stuff down before we pack back up to remove the sand/salt and there’s no way to do that and keep it out of the sand here. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience for him. We were a little farther away from the beach than we typically stay as well (I think we were the 4th house off the beach), but it was still a very short walk and the boardwalk at the beach access is nice and helped with pulling the beach cart out/in each day. There are two pools (one heated and one not) and they are located directly across the road from the house. We didn’t utilize it, but if the water had been too rough we likely would have and it would’ve been very convenient. I feel like my review is pretty negative so I don’t want to mislead, the house is great for a small family (or even just a couple) very clean with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

We’ve been to Ft Morgan a few years on & love this neighborhood. Having an option for a couple amongst the large houses is excellent & we look forward to staying here again!

We enjoyed the home we stayed in and such a great location! We went from pj’s to swimsuit and back to pj’s except 2 nights we ate at Tacky Jacks , it was delicious and just across the street basically. We made new friends on the beach as we sat together for 7 days . Relaxed and refreshed now !

Its was a great experience. Would love to come back.
