Property is great. Southern did not communicate with us about balcony being off limits due to resurfacing until the week before our trip. Resurfacing had been going on since February! I had to fight to get a discount with Southern and we did not get access to balcony at the end of stay as we were told we would. We had a view of ugly plastic around the railing. We should have been told sooner.

We had stayed in this unit last year and it was great for our group. We love the location of this property and always get the gulf view units This year after final payment was made we were informed our balcony would be off limits due to painting/ resurfacing. This had been going on since February (2 months after we booked unit) The HOA and property manager did not say a word to us until the week before our stay. We pay top dollar for these views. I had to fight with rental manager to get a discount and really we should have been told earlier and been able to make a change of venue. Poor public relations. The balcony is like another room in the condo! This situation was disappointing and the view was of ugly plastic wrapped around the balcony

It would have been much better if we could sit on the deck and see the ocean and the terrible smells from the deck sealing process didn’t make us feel sick

This condo is perfect. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful view of gulf in the living room and master bedroom. Feels like a home, not a vacation rental. Worth the money paid. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
