I’d Rather Be Gulfing also features two primary bedrooms; one is found on the second floor, while the other is on the third floor. Both come with beautifully decorated en suite bathrooms and access to the patio deck and beachfront balcony. Meanwhile, you’ll absolutely want to take the time to get out and explore all Pensacola Beach has to offer. When you aren’t preparing meals in the kitchen or on the private gas grill, try any of the area’s delicious, local restaurants. The oven severely overheats to the point that we had to turn it off when trying to bake rolls for fear of a fire hazard. If you’re not planning to cook, no big deal, but we always cook several meals during the week so we were limited in what we could prepare. We reported the issue and received confirmation that the report was received, but no one came to repair it. A minor nuisance was that the master bath commode needs the fill valve replaced because the commode constantly tries to fill unless you remove the lid and pull up on the valve. Location was great and we would stay here again, but given these issues should be addressed before the next group occupies the residence. We would’ve given it a 10 rating but for these two issues

Great place to stay, just be careful of the nails and the little “ramp” area of the deck. Awesome location, very clean, well laid-out home. Southern will take good care of you, and are quick to respond (they were for us to a couple very minor issues-one lock not reacting to our code, and a leaky outside water hose). To the owners - you have a multi-million dollar home on the beach - invest a little in composite decking on that grand deck! But guests - don’t let that cause you to avoid the property, we’d stay there again.

Great location and met all expectations based on the listing. Issue with air conditioning on second day, but a handy man and later an HVAC technician fixed the problem within a few hours. Also had a little trouble with the code for the doors (keypad not working well). Only other con is that the garbage cans were all completely full when we arrived. Will stay again.

My family and I had a great time at “I’d Rather be Gulfing.” The description is very accurate so make sure you read it and bring all the extra things you will need! We had a little trouble getting inside the house as the code didn’t work when we got there, but I called the line and we got inside the house within 5 minutes of calling. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, outside shower, and the space for everyone. Having the second fridge/ice machine really helped with our large group! This is a great choice if you have a big family/group like us!
