We love staying at Maravilla. Its close to everything in Destin. Room was very clean with nice layout. We will stay here again.

A HONEST REVIEW: This unit is a no frills, basic place to stay. Maravilla complex however is fabulous. The unit is out dated and shows it. It needs new carpet and cushions in dining room. There was some mild mildew around shower soap holder. However, the rental agency was outstanding. There was a horrible smell on arrival. They brought a dehumidifier the day after arrival and eliminated the smell. The kitchen has pots and pans but you must bring all your seasoning including salt/pepper. The dishwasher worked. The refrigerator is full size and keep everything cold. The bunk beds in the hallway were comfortable according to my 2 boys 10 & 6. I loved the fact it had a king bed and for me it was really comfortable. The room really needs blackout curtains. The street light and day break sun does not allow one to sleep in. The room is small and crowded with a huge dresser BUT it allowed us the put our clothes away for the week and not "live out of a suitcase". I liked it. The bathrooms were clean except for the mildew area on soap holder. The bathroom has a washer/dryer and that was a huge plus. There was NO hair dryer so bring your own. The TV's in both the living room and bedroom are ROKU which was a plus and the wifi was great. The overall theme is coastal. Outside the first floor unit about 30 yds from the front door was 5 outdoor grills, a covered sitting area and the second pool with a hot tub. A large grassy area for the kids to play. The unit itself was about 160 yds from the beach and primary pool (walking distance ) and an easy paved walk. The beach access is gated and our condo included 2 beach chairs with service. We only went once. It was a crowded beach with ALOT of chairs set up in a horseshoe pattern. No area for kids to play wiffle ball until after 5pm. After 5pm the beach was fanstatic and only a few people with plenty of space. We preferred to go at this time and allow the kids to run and play. The beach was really nice. Pompano Joes is .8 miles away, again an easy paved walk. My expectations for this unit were met. I knew going in that the unit was dated and had some wear. The cosmetic blemishes were tolerable. The only unexpected issue was the smell and the rental agency was so quick to respond and eliminate it. I would stay here again even if the minor issues were not corrected due to the location and rental agency.

The unit had everything we needed. It is definitely a bit dated and could use a deep cleaning.
