A Destiny Retreat

Beautiful home and loved the location, but yard and landscape needs some attention. The floors were not clean and the dishwasher would not properly clean the dishes. Dishes were put away not clean. House is also infested with roaches. Living room sofa is worn out and very uncomfortable!. Sheets do not fit beds well and slip off. The master suite is very nice, but has a small court yard that had no furniture and weeds filled the pots and cracks. Beautiful pots and urns outside that need something in them and could use a little outside furniture. Kitchen needs new non-stick pots and pans. There was only one dish towel and no dish cloth, except for a disposable one, and nothing to scrub the pans that had stuck on food and the dishwasher would not clean. There were not enough towels and wash cloths for eight people. Such a beautiful place to be neglected as it is. Loved having four bicycles and they were very nice. The home is in a great location to beach and pool. It just needs some easily fixed updates!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We normally stay directly ON THE BEACH, so I was a little concerned about staying in a neighborhood in a home a couple of blocks from the sand. The location was PERFECT! The stroll to the beach was short and quick. There were only a few homes between us and the beach. The home was also located one house away from the neighborhood pool which was very convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful with gated access, so it was very safe for the kids. The home itself was clean and the kitchen had everything needed and more. The only thing additional that would be nice was if there was an additional half bath on the main level. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Very comfortable and easy walk to beach!

We booked late due to the coronavirus and concerns about what was happening in Florida. After deciding that we'd be fine on a beach and eating takeout we decided to book. This property was one of the few that had availability but was a property we would have chosen regardless. The price was right and accessibility to beach was nearly perfect. The Pros: - Accessibility. 2 doors down from community pool and about 3 minute walk to the beach. - 4 adult bikes included was a nice feature. We rode them more than we expected to. Some kids bikes would have been nice, though. - The property was in pretty good shape. Not perfect but considering it was a rental we were happy. Everything was clean and everything that was supposed to work, worked. Cons: - No access to garage. Would have been nice to get into the garage to store beach gear instead of loading it back into the van every night. Overall, a great stay and we'd definitely stay there again.
