The condo was beautiful and pretty well equipped. The listing described the pool at this condo as “unavailable”. This was inaccurate, as the pool was open, but this unit apparently did not allow renters to access this pool or the grills. In fact, the listing advertised many pools, but the rental company explicitly stated that we were only to use the pool in between the other buildings (this was after we had already paid for the condo). In order to access grills, you have to drive or walk 2 buildings over across a parking lot to the main pool. (Rather than just walk downstairs to use the grills at San Anton). This was disappointing, and quite frankly will be a deal breaker for future stays in this particular unit. Several owners on-site were flabbergasted that we weren’t given access to the pool on-site and mentioned that they always grant renters of their units access to the pool and grills at San Anton. We had a little trouble finding the building, also, when we arrived, as the buildings aren’t marked from the street view. Additionally, we had a hard time with the keys provided. This was taken care of promptly by the rental company the next day, although they initially said that we just needed to jiggle the lock a few times to unlock the door. The rental company additionally states that we had a parking space in the garage. This was incorrect, as the only designated parking for the unit was in the outside parking lot. This wasn’t a big deal, but was in contrast to the information given to us by the rental company. Again, the condo was beautiful and very comfortable; however, the inability to utilize amenities in the building we rented will keep us from renting at this particular unit again.
