Very comfortable beds and great location

Pros: We loved the house. Layout was very comfortable for everyone (4 families - all parents got a king bed suite, all siblings had their own room + bathroom). The kids loved the pool and the balconies, and we all appreciated the proximity/easy walk to the public access beach (which was busy but not crowded). Also great A/C and hot water. Cons: Cleaning service missed several things before our arrival (We found broken glass in one of the bathrooms, days old hard boiled eggs in the cabinet on top of the plates, the grill was filthy and all the grease caught fire when we used it, and junk under several beds). Guest services, while very courteous, were not particularly helpful. We submitted a maintenance order the morning after we arrived to have someone come hammer in all the popped nail heads we kept stepping on on the back deck and back steps. It was not addressed during our visit. And when we informed Guest Services of the broken glass in the bathroom, the only response we got was "thank you for bringing this to our attention". We were very lucky that none of the children or adults (who were all walking around barefoot in the house) was injured, so I expected something more to make it right.

This property was a nice property with the exception of the cleanliness, the fan falling out the ceiling, & maintenance issues. It has the potential, it just need more effort in the "up keeping". The furniture, location, & balcony views were great! We would love to return to stay once Southern Vacation gives the home some tender love & care. Thank you.

The property was very clean and spacious. The only problem was the security code for one of the doors didn't work. The ceiling fan in one room didn't work. Called the 800 number and they responded promptly. The shower door in one of the rooms shattered. We were told they would supply a shower curtain for the room and it didn't happen. But the property manager said it was an accident, therefore we were not charged for the replacement. Great location for getting to the beach, only 5 to 8 minute walk. We would recommend this for future guest. Also parking was good. Also close proximity to other venues for food and entertainment.
