Orange Beach Weather

Orange Beach and Coastal Alabama is the perfect balmy location for your next vacation to the Gulf Coast. Temperatures are typically warm and you will certainly want to pack plenty of shorts, breezy tops and sandals when visiting us!

Weather along Alabama’s Gulf Coast typically begin to warm up in March and April with average daily temperatures ranging anywhere from the mid-60’s to high 70’s. Evenings during the spring, however, can still be cool so we recommend packing a light jacket. That jacket can certainly stay home during the summer months though! The hottest month to visit us is July, although the humidity of August makes frequent trips into the pool a must.

Fall temperatures in Orange Beach will be warm enough for days out on the beach, typically, until October, especially if you’re adventurous. Nights in the fall can be a bit on the cooler side, though, so consider bringing that jacket with you again. Our chilliest month is most certainly January. If visiting with us during this time be sure to pack a good coat and clothes for layering as we are sometimes surprised by warmer temperatures even in winter.

No matter what time of year you visit you will want to pack sunscreen! A sunburn can easily be achieved in the summer months but even the winter warmth can leave you a little red if you don’t lather up before strolling our white beaches.
