Our famous abundant waters are internationally recognized and provide the perfect playground for fishermen of all expertise.
Florida fishing in Destin is done in a number of ways. Cast from the shore or water’s edge for Pompano or from the Destin jetties for Redfish, Speckled Trout and White Snapper. Explore the waters by boat for Cobia, Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Scamp, Triggerfish and Black Fin Tuna. Destin harbors the largest Charter Boat Fleet in Florida, including more than 140 vessels, from party boats to private charters. Let them take you offshore beginning at 27 miles out in search of Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Wahoo. Destin is also known as the Billfish Capital of the Gulf.
