Mark your calendar with these distinctive events along the Gulf Coast in all of our beach locations, including Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Scenic 30A, Panama City Beach, Navarre Beach, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Fairhope. While each area hosts their own events, the beach communities are so close to one another, and often intertwined, that visiting guests can participate and enjoy neighboring activities going on nearby with ease.
One-of-a-kind festivals and fairs celebrate so many different passions and interests. With fishing core to all of our communities, we commemorate several seafood festivals and fishing tournaments highlighting local fare and seasonal favorites. 45th Annual Festival of Art ~ Orange Beach, Alabama Events by Southern
Are you spending your Spring Break on Coastal Alabama’s beautiful beaches? Then we have just the event for you! The 45th Annual Festival of Art is one of Orange Beach’s most popular events, and you won’t want to miss out! The festival hosts an extraordinary amount of artists in both visual and fine arts. With glass artists, potters, painters, sculptors, watercolorists and more, each artist brings something unique to the event. This two-day festival takes place March 9th-10th from 10 AM – 5 PM each day.
The 45th Annual Festival of Art is free to the public and open to all ages! A kid’s art alley gives children the chance to create some hands-on works of art. The festival also includes a culinary arts court featuring local cuisine as well as a music and songwriter’s stage.
Satellite public parking is available with shuttles to the Festival of Art for just $5. Parking can be found at the Orange Beach Sportsplex off Canal Road, about two miles west of the festival grounds. Bicycle parking is also available for those who wish to cycle to the festival.
