Three Gulf Coast Events We Are Thankful For!
Today kicks off the most thankful month of the year. November boasts family gatherings and gratitude aplenty. One thing we’re grateful for all year round is the amazing Gulf Coast events. This month, we can’t wait for these events that make us even more thankful to live on the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama.
THE FOO FOO FEST IN PENSACOLA
From November 2-13, Pensacola turns into a veritable art exhibit. Operas, ballets, concerts, exhibitions, and culinary displays all take center stage. Currently, twenty events are scheduled, some free, some ticketed, and all amazing! Events include a block party, an air show, a marathon, street science, and more. BLUES, BREWS, & BBQ IN DESTIN
When an event is named for the South’s best music, food, and beverage, what more do you need to know? The Blues, Brews, & BBQ festival on November 4 at the Destin Harbor takes fall to another level. Overlooking the Destin Pass, with the shops of HarborWalk Village as a backdrop, this Saturday soaks up the sounds, sights, and savory flavors of the South. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event.
FRANK BROWN INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITER’S FESTIVAL – GULF COAST
From November 9-19, more than 200 songwriters from around the world bring their lyrics and guitars to the Gulf Coast. Featuring novices and veterans in the music industry, this festival takes music lovers behind today’s Billboard hits. This year, Grammy winner Don Schlitz, author of country mega-hit “The Gambler,” takes the main stage on November 10. From Big Beach Brewing Company in Gulf Shores to The Crab Trap in Pensacola, musicians will perform in venues all along the Gulf Coast. Search the complete list of venues now.
