Southern Rentals and Real Estate is very excited to once again sponsor the annual Double Bridge Run, taking place near our Pensacola Beach vacation rentals.
The Pensacola Double Bridge Run takes place each February and offers a 5K and 15K course option for runners. The 15K course begins at Maritime Park, also known as the Blue Wahoos Stadium, and travels over the Pensacola Bay Bridge to the Publix in Gulf Breeze. This is where the 5K runners join in to complete the run over the Bob Sikes Bridge and to the finish line at Portofino Boardwalk.
There are several events leading up to race day, which is February 13, 2016. For instance, you won’t want to miss the two expos taking place at the Gulf Breeze Community Center on February 11 and 12 beginning at 3PM on Thursday and noon on Friday. Come by to pick up your bib and race packet, as well as check out the goods at each vendor, many offering local services, as well as incentives and wares for runners.
As sponsors, Southern will also be at the expo. Be sure to stop by and see us during both days at the expo. And, if you miss us, we will also be at the post-race party and awards so lookout for out booth and stop by for your goodies. We hope to see you out this weekend and good luck to all the racers!
