Event Information

As mentioned, the Destin Fishing Rodeo happens every year throughout the entire month of October. The best way to experience the excitement is by visiting the daily weigh-ins located at AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar on the harbor. Boats pull into the dock, unload their haul, and learn what place their catch takes in the tournament. Weigh-ins happen every day from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and everyone is invited! Trust us when we say you won’t want to miss a large tuna or shark on the scale!

There are other ways to enjoy the Destin Fishing Rodeo, including the boat raffle and kid’s activities. Enter for the chance to win a 2023 Havoc with an aluminum trailer and Yamaha engine through the Destin Fishing Rodeo website. The proceeds benefit RMHC Charities and the Miss Destin Scholarship. There are a variety of events throughout the tournament specifically designed for kids to enjoy.
