Where Locals Eat in Panama City Beach

Where Locals Eat in Panama City Beach

With so much to do on your vacation to Northwest Florida,  you don’t have a lot of time to scope out spots for the perfect lunch. Luckily, we know where the locals eat in Panama City Beach.

Of course, proximity to your vacation home or condo usually dictates your restaurant choices. So here are a couple of options to cover the beach from end to end. Whether you’re lying on the beach or spending the day at the best shopping in Panama City Beach, there’s always a good meal nearby.

INTERNATIONAL CUISINE

So you have found yourself on the West end of the beach.  If you want something fast but are tired of run-of-the-mill fast food, then you have to give Eat My Pasty a go. An English eatery with some of the finest fish and chips available promises to offer something everyone will fancy.  For anyone who isn’t a fish and chips fan, try their signature dish, the pasty. These meat and cheese-filled pastries are ideal for even the pickiest eaters.

SOUTHERN COOKING

Are you in the mood for something a bit more Southern? Then Moe’s Original BBQ on the East end of Panama City Beach tames even the fiercest hunger. With a different special every day and country sides galore, you haven’t had good southern barbecue until you eat at Moe’s on Front Beach Road.

FRESH SEAFOOD

Finally, when the mood for some seafood strikes, and let’s face it we all come to the beach for the seafood, run to Runaway Island. For fresh fish tacos with Gulf front views, Runaway Island tops the list. Fair warning though: not ordering the gouda grits comes with a huge side of remorse. They’re one of the house specialties.

There’s a reason you stay with Southern. It’s not just that we have the most beautiful vacation rentals in Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama. It’s because our team is a family, and our family is local!
