Weekly Events in South Walton

When on vacation in a Scenic 30A vacation rental, one thing that you will discover is that these communities are made for strolling and exploring.

Something you are sure to find during your exploration is the vast array of weekly events such as farmers’ markets. concerts and movie nights to enjoy with the family.

Farmers’ markets and produce stands are abundant in Destin and near our Panama City Beach vacation rentals, but Scenic 30A is known for its many weekly gatherings of local growers. And, there is something to be said for biking into town, selecting some locally produced cheese, as well as gorgeous veggies and fruits, to go along with your dinner.

The most well-known market to explore is certainly the Seaside Farmers’ Market, which takes place every Saturday morning in the center of town. Other Saturday markets include the Grand Boulevard Market located on Highway 98. On Sunday, explore the stands in Rosemary Beach, Gulf Place, and Watercolor.

Other weekly events to enjoy during your vacation in South Walton include local concerts and even family-friendly movie nights. For concerts, consider hitting Watercolor on Mondays at 6 pm or Baytowne Wharf on Tuesday evenings, where you will also be treated to fireworks at 9 pm. For movies, check out Alys Beach on Tuesdays and Seaside on Friday evenings after sunset.
