Scenic 30A – loved by locals and visitors alike, this spot on the Gulf Coast boasts miles of beachfront condos, peaceful vacation homes, and an endless stretch of sugar-white sand. It’s a place you’ll return to time and time again. No matter where on 30A you choose to vacation, there’s always something fun going on. We’re featuring three of our favorite June 30A events you won’t want to miss this summer! Plus, some of our favorite vacation spots on 30A to make the most out of your trip.
Adagio is one of the most luxurious and highly sought-after condos on 30A, and for good reason, too! Seven buildings lie within this stunning complex, offering both Gulf and poolside views. With an 8,000-square-foot pool, an on-site fitness center, and exclusive beach access. If you’re vacationing here, you’re central to all the fun things happening on 30A! On Wednesday, June 20, head down to the Western Lake boat ramp a little past the Red Bar in Grayton Beach to explore the area on a Hydrobike! Check-in occurs between 7:30 and 8 AM. You’ll have until 12 PM to cruise the area.
The Western Lake is home to one of South Walton’s coastal dune lakes. Grayton Beach also borders the Gulf of Mexico and the Western Lake. Vacationing with kids this summer? Spend it at Prominence North, a delightful triplex in the Town of Prominence. Kids will love splashing in the zero-entry pool, while you’ll love spending time at the nearby “Hub,” the town center hosting great restaurants, dining, and movie nights. On Tuesday, June 19 at 6 PM the Emerald Coast Theatre Company is putting on a production of Snow White as part of their Summer on the Lawn Event Series. Because this is a free, interactive event, children are encouraged to participate. Of course, they’ll love acting as birds, trees in the forest, and even one of the seven dwarves! Spend your summer at Thirty Blu, a fun, upscale area in WaterSound. Thirty Blu’s townhomes offer everything you need during your stay, so you and the kids will feel right at home! With an outdoor grill center, a large pool, and an on-site golf course, everyone can have fun. Meanwhile, if you’re a running enthusiast, you will love the RUN/SUP Summer Race Series. This fun event is a one-mile trail run, followed by a one-mile competition on a stand-up paddleboard!
Take part in this fun run on Friday, June 29 from 7:30-9:30 AM. The race starts at the BoatHouse Paddle Club in WaterColor. Then, participants will transition from the trail to the paddleboard on the Western Lake. A male and female winner will be announced at the end of the race. Additionally, anyone ages 12 and up can participate, so it will be fun for the whole family! For more information, visit the race website.
