The Destin Marathon!

Love to run? Pack your sneakers for your upcoming April vacation to Destin. We’re gearing up for the Kill Cliff Destin Marathon taking place on April 17, 2016!

Known as the race runner built, as it is the first successfully crowdfunded marathon in history, the Kill Cliff Destin Marathon already comprises runners from 33 states and 4 countries, with registration still open. The run will take you from HarborWalk Village, over the Destin Bridge, down miles of scenic shoreline on Okaloosa Island and just passed Island Princess Condos in Fort Walton Beach before heading back to HarborWalk Village. The route will be totally closed off to traffic so runners can enjoy the race fully.

Be sure you book your Destin vacation rental or Okaloosa Island condo and hit the beach early so you don’t miss the expo taking place on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 11am to 7pm. This is not only your opportunity to pick up your race packet, but you can also mingle with the other runners and try out some awesome gear from local and regional vendors onsite.

Registration for both the full and half marathon is currently still open. All proceeds from this event benefit the Navy Seal Foundation. We hope to see you out for this incredible event during your spring vacation on the Emerald Coast!
