This is one of the most popular races in the region, since over 3,000 people come to Pensacola to participate. This year, the race takes place on February 1st and will take runners over the newly constructed Pensacola Bay Bridge. Do you love the challenge of a 15K? Then you will love the course setup for the Double Bridge Run. Runners start at Maritime Park in Downtown Pensacola, then wind through the historic district and picturesque Bayfront Parkway. Then, once you have crossed the new Pensacola Bay Bridge into Gulf Breeze, you’ll run over the bridge that takes you into Pensacola Beach. For those who want to run or walk the 5K, you’ll start in Gulf Breeze and make your way onto Pensacola Beach.

The best part of any race is the after-party, and the 2020 Pensacola Double Bridge Run does not disappoint! Once you cross the finish line at the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk, stick around for post-race festivities. Each participant receives free beer tickets – the best way to recover after an intense race! There will also be live music and other vendors to check out after the race. The awards ceremony begins at 10 AM and the post-race party ends at noon. The boardwalk is home to Bamboo Willie’s, Hooter’s, and Hemingway’s, so there will be no shortage of ways to unwind after the race!
