Destin Snorkel is unique because they offer different levels of diving including SCUBA, SNUBA, and snorkeling. So, what is SNUBA? Well, we all know that SCUBA diving is when you go deep under the water and breathe through an air tank that is attached to you. Snorkel is when you swim along the top of the water and breathe through a tube that sticks up out of the water. SNUBA is a combination of them both, because you do breathe through an air tank, but it is located on a raft, and you don’t go more than around 20 feet deep. SNUBA is a little more adventurous than snorkeling, but still does not require certification. However, you should be an experienced swimmer and at least eight years old.
