This month we bring you Pensacola ~ The Southern Scoop’s Featured Locale of the Month “America’s 1st Settlement”.

Of course, the beautiful sugar sand beaches and crystal blue waters are her southern perimeter. Rarely are cities known for world-class beaches as well as the refined downtown experience like what you see in Seville Quarter or the Palafox Market. Furthermore, development and investment abound and the well-being of the economy and community are testament to that. The Saenger Theatre hosts events year-round in opulent Rococo style architecture built in 1925. Pensacola is also home to some of the oldest surviving historic buildings in Florida. In addition, Old Christ Church on Adams Street in Seville Square was completed in 1832 and now serves as an events venue and museum.

The variety of events, museums, restaurants, beaches, and shows here are nearly innumerable. Pensacola has an activity for everypreference, taste, and hobby at all times of the year. We look forward to showcasing another featured locale of the month from Panama City Florida to Gulf Shores & Fort Morgan Alabama!  Meanwhile, make sure to book your vacation rental home or condo with Southern during your next trip to Pensacola! See you guys soon!
