Must-Try Brunch on 30A

Warmer weather is upon us! With warmer weather comes crowded beaches along the Gulf Coast. We are so excited to kick off spring break this year and help guests experience a memorable stay. One huge factor that plays a part in having a successful stay is dining. No matter where you vacation along the Gulf Coast, each area offers unique cuisine. For example, Destin includes a myriad of restaurants serving entrees focused on fresh fish due to the harbor being so close by. On the other hand, one of the most popular spots to getaway, Highway Scenic 30A, offers some of the best brunch on the Gulf Coast. Of course, there are still incredible restaurants with gorgeous views, and a menu to please even the pickiest of eaters. However, if you are visiting 30A we highly encourage you to carve out time for brunch. The brunch on 30A is unlike any other and to help you choose which restaurants to try, we have listed 5 of our favorite spots below.

Cowgirl Kitchen

Cowgirl Kitchen is for guests looking for a casual atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful customer service. They have multiple locations along Scenic Highway 30A so no matter which community you like to visit, there is sure to be one nearby. One of our favorite things to order for brunch is the Big Bad Breakfast Burrito. It is a hearty meal that features all our favorite breakfast options including eggs, bacon, and chorizo. Each location’s hours vary so make sure to visit their website before heading out the door.

Black Bear Bread Co.

This brunch spot also has multiple locations including one in a popular shopping center, Grand Boulevard. Start your day with Black Bear Bread Co. and then spend a few hours shopping for souvenirs. Their menu features many different coffee and pastry options. Their pastries are decadent and are sure to keep you coming back for more. Find a Parisian influence not only with their menu but also with the décor within each location.

The Bay

When it comes to brunch on 30A, The Bay has it figured out! They only offer a brunch menu on Sundays, so we highly recommend getting a reservation. With the waterfront view, you not only get to enjoy a delicious brunch, but also a welcoming atmosphere. This is a great choice if you are hoping to take pictures with the family before or after your meal. Stick around for a little while and enjoy the beach just out back. Our favorite menu item for brunch is definitely the Crab Cake Benedict!

The Perfect Pig

Recently voted one of the hottest spots on 30A, The Perfect Pig is a must-try! This bistro restaurant on 30A includes a Southern-style breakfast with a twist. We encourage you to make a reservation as it can fill up quickly. If you can’t make it for breakfast, try lunch or dinner! Each menu is delicious, and the restaurant features incredible customer service no matter what time of day you would prefer to visit.

Crackings

This 30A restaurant is family-owned and operated and features a traditional breakfast menu. From a decadent cinnamon roll to biscuits and gravy, they’ve got it all! Our personal favorite menu item is the Sriracha Breakfast Sandwich. If you are a Yelp user, you can join their waitlist through Yelp which makes it easy to not have to wait for a table. Crackings is the perfect spot for a family with young kids looking for a simple yet delicious egg and bacon breakfast. Not to mention, the customer service is welcoming and each guest leaves feeling full and ready to take on the day!
