Thinking about planning a Memorial Day vacation to the beach? Don’t miss these great weekend events taking place near our condos in Destin, homes in 30A and each of our rentals along the beaches of Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama.
Live music is the name of the game if you will be on vacation in Fort Walton Beach or in Destin. If you will be in a Destin condo or home, we recommend visiting HarborWalk Village. Here you can enjoy dinner, a great water view and live music from several awesome local bands, including those paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Journey. We also highly encourage you to stick around the docks until at 9pm Sunday night for a spectacular fireworks display. On Friday, Concerts at the Landing in Fort Walton Beach will take place at 6pm, located a short drive over the Brooks Bridge from your condo rental.
If you are staying in South Walton, you can also enjoy live music, food and family fun by visiting the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Not only will their be live music and fun kids events each night, but there will also be fireworks on Sunday evening and a wonderful Veteran’s tribute on Monday located at the events plaza stage. All events are free and open to the public.
If you prefer to book an Orange Beach or Gulf Shores condo rental, consider heading over to LuLu’s Restaurant for LuLuPalooza. This is an awesome event where you can not only enjoy a delicious meal, cool drinks and a free day of fun with the family on the available ropes course, beach and arcade, but also a terrific concert experience. You can even kick off summer with an incredible beach ball drop when you visit The Wharf, also located in Orange Beach.
