Lemon Lime and Basil Cocktail Recipe

Visiting the beach this summer? There are plenty of restaurants along the beach that have happy hour and serve delicious cocktails. However, sometimes the best happy hour is at your condo on the beach! If you are one who orders groceries at the start of every vacation, grab a couple of extra items, and try out this lemon-lime and basil cocktail recipe. It is one of our favorites because it is light, refreshing, and you control how strong you want to make it. You don’t need any fancy equipment, and all of the ingredients can be found at a local grocery store.

Lemon Lime and Basil Cocktail Recipe

What You’ll Need:

Basil Sprigs 1/3 Cup Club Soda
2/3 Cup Fresh Lime Juice 1 Cup Gin or Vodka
1/3 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice

Preparation:

  1. In a glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the basil leaves.
  2. Add ice on top of the basil.
  3. Pour the lime juice, lemon juice, gin or vodka, and club soda over the ice.
  4. Garnish with basil leave and lime slice.
