23rd Annual Mullet Man Triathlon ~ Perdido Key, Florida Events by Southern

The 23rd Annual Mullet Man Triathlon is back again on April 13! Push yourself to the limit on this scenic course through Perdido Key, Florida and Orange Beach, Alabama before a post-race party at the Flora-Bama Lounge.

The race starts at 7:30 a.m. and features a post-race party where great food and drinks will be provided. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, in memory of M. Lane Gilchrist, the late, popular Mayor of Gulf Breeze, FL.

The course begins with the swim portion for ¼ mile in the Gulf of Mexico. Then racers will transition into the bike segment for 8.5 miles. After that comes the 4.2 mile run, and you’ll end up back at Flora-Bama.

You can pick up your packet and register on April 12 or on the day of the event before the race begins. There are multiple divisions for men and women, as well as age groups. There is even a category for first timers! Registration is $90 plus $6.90 fee.
