So many households have pets nowadays and it can be hard to leave them behind during your trip to the beach. However, we want to make sure our guests know that they don’t have to! There are options when it comes to pet-friendly vacation rentals along the Gulf Coast. Also, when you arrive at your beach destination, there are dog-friendly beaches along the Gulf Coast so your furry family member can enjoy the sand, surf, and sun.

Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, & Fort Morgan

There are tons of options when it comes to dog parks in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. However, if you are looking to bring your dog to the beach, check out Fort Morgan Historic Site Bayside Beach. It may be a little bit of a drive if you are staying on the outskirts of Fort Morgan, but totally worth it to see your dog splash around the water. When you visit Fort Morgan Historic Site Bayside Beach, your dog must be leashed at all times. You also are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.

Pensacola & Perdido Key

Pensacola and Perdido Key are becoming more and more dog friendly. Visit the Pensacola Bay Area with your pet and discover so many options! Make sure to double-check before you visit to find out if your pet must be leashed.

Destin, Panama City Beach, & 30A

Dogs are not permitted on the beaches in Destin, so if you plan on bringing your pet on vacation, check out South Walton. Dogs are allowed on the beaches of 30A, however, you must have a permit to do so. Permitted dogs are allowed on the beach between the times of 3:30 pm and 8:30 am year-round. This ensures that when the beaches are packed full of people, your dog is avoiding the heat and crowds. Once guests start to head back to their rentals is when the dogs can come out and play!
