Mother’s Day is almost here, and what better way to show mom how much you love her than by giving her what she really wants? This year, switch things up and celebrate Mother’s Day at the beach. There are so many great things to do at the beach; getting to soak up some sun is just an added bonus! Whether your mom is a foodie or wants to be pampered, we’ve got you covered. Read on below for some of our favorite ways to celebrate Mother’s Day at the beach. Be sure to also let us know your favorite ways on our Facebook page!
Brunch
Not only is brunch one of the most popular meals for the weekend, but it’s also a great way to reconnect with family and friends. It’s that sweet spot right between breakfast and lunch, where it’s still early enough that you can enjoy your day but not so late that you cut into dinner time. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th, so you’ll want to be sure you secure your reservation soon – any brunch goer will know how fast the popular spots fill up! Here are some of our favorite spots for brunch for Mother’s Day:
- Panama City Beach – Andy’s Flour Power
- Scenic 30A – Bud & Alley’s
- Destin –790 on the Gulf in Destin
- Fort Walton Beach – Bay Cafe
- Pensacola Beach – The Grand Marlin
- Orange Beach – The Southern Grind
- Gulf Shores – Hazel’s Nook

They’re also offering carryout options so you can enjoy a delicious meal from the comfort of your 30A vacation rental! If you’re staying on Pensacola Beach, then take a short drive into Downtown Pensacola for a delicious Mother’s Day dinner at Jackson’s Steakhouse. Their special menu features Red Snapper Persillade -day boat red snapper, parsley garlic butter, lemon supremes, and spring-vegetable pearl couscous. Sign us up!
