Crazy for Crawfish ~ 2018 Pensacola Crawfish Festival
The 2018 Pensacola Crawfish Festival has got us crazy for crawfish! In its 34th year, this famous Pensacola event is held from May 4-6 in Bartram Park, Downtown Pensacola. Festival times are as follows:
- Friday, May 4: Noon – 11 PM
- Saturday, May 5: 10 AM – 11 PM
- Sunday, May 5: 11 AM – 5 PM
Expand your Cajun roots at the 2018 Pensacola Crawfish Festival! Try popular Cajun dishes, featuring red beans and rice, boudin balls, seafood gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya, and Cajun pasta.
This festival is kid friendly! The Children’s Area will be open on Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM – 5 PM. Kids can participate in arts and crafts and face paintings. They’ll also have tons of fun with wands, balloons, games, and the popular NASCRAW crawfish races!
Be sure to bring your appetite, as this year’s festival features 16,000 lbs of boiled crawfish! That’s a lot of crawfish!
Think you can stomach that much crawfish? To prove it, the 12th Annual Cat Country 98.7 Crawfish Eating Contest continues this year! Participate in either the kids, adults or CrawDADDY division. Prizes are awarded after each competition.
