2016 South Walton Wine & Food Festival

Wine and food festivals are favorite things to do on the Gulf Coast. But, if you love to sip and savor, your vacation destination of choice along the beach should undoubtedly be South Walton.

A vacation rental on Scenic 30A will put you in close proximity to some of the best restaurants around, but also some of the best culinary events. This is especially true in the spring when you have festivals such as the Sandestin Wine Festival and the upcoming South Walton Wine and Food Festival, which will kick off April 28, 2016 and offer 4 days of delicious fun.

Thursday will offer a VIP Meet & Greet with the founder of the event and will feature live music and an authentic 30A menu including fresh oysters, wine and craft beer. On Friday, start the party early at 4PM with the Winemakers & Shakers event. This experience offers attendees the chance to mingle with some of the top wineries in the world, a well as taste great wines. After that, it’s off to the Craft Beer and Spirits Jam at the Town Center. Hot breweries and distilleries, as well as local restaurants, will be showing off and live music will be available from The Owsley Brothers, a local favorite.

The Grand Tasting event will kick off on Saturday and at the Town Center and Culinary Village in Grand Boulevard from 1-5PM. Over 800 wines will be available, as will seminars, Champagne Lane, Spirits Row, live entertainment and culinary demonstrations. The wine auction will also take place from 1-3PM.
